Chartwell Consulting is based in the beautiful Margaret River wine region. We would like to acknowledge that we come together to meet and work on the lands of the Wardandi Clan of the Noongar Nation- we honour the beauty and majesty of South West Boojarah Country, stretching from Cape Leeuwin to Geographe Bay, and are grateful for the gifts it has given us. We recognise and acknowledge the leadership and authority of Wardandi Elders and Knowledge Holders past, present and emerging, and celebrate their continual and enduring connection to their traditional lands and waters.
Under the terms of the South West Native Title Settlement, arguably Australia’s first comprehensive negotiated Treaty, Chartwell Consulting recognises the Karri Karrak Aboriginal Corporation as the Regional Corporation for the South West Boojarah region, and the South West Aboriginal Land and Sea Council as the Central Services Corporation and Native Title Representative Body for the South West. We acknowledge and honour their work as carriers and custodians of culture and language, carers for country, backbones of community and advocates for the Noongar Nation.
